R. L. Sharma
He was born in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, in 1943. He started working in tourism in the age of 18 with a great passion. He has worked for 30 years for the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Many projects of tourism, trekking programmes, adventure safaris, high altitude camp sites, promotion of new itineraries in remote areas have been operated under his leadership. He has been one of the pioneers of mountain tourism in Himachal Pradesh.
Dheeraj Upadhayaye
He started exploring mountains in his childhood, after which he became a mountain guide. In the last 15 years he has organized many expeditions in the most remote areas of the Himalayas. He hasguided his own itineraries across India and Nepal. For 4 years he worked for one of the leading Indian tour operators. He has participated in many adventure sport activities, rafting, paragliding and mountain biking tours. He specializes in trekking, wild life and cultural tours.
Barbara Casolari
Born and brought up in Italy Barbara Casolari studied History of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna. Thankz to her job she got the chance to travel widely across India. As a mountain lover and hiker she explored in particular the Indian Himalayas. She has written about the Indian Himalayan State in a guide book of India. She works as a volunteer for one of the main italian environmentalist association.
